A lot of things have happened over the past few months, so I'm going to play catch-up, month by month!
JANUARY
January was a pretty eventful month for us. Camron and I started school, we celebrated Brycson's second birthday, and two new babies were born! Our friends Jess and Tyler had their first on January 7th. Little Jaden decided he needed to make his presence known about 3 weeks early. Tyler had just left to train in Claifornia, but luckily was able to make it back for the blessed event. Little Jaden had trouble keeping his blood sugars where they needed to be, so the only pics I have were through the nursery window. I was able to go in with Tyler and hold the little man. I just wanted to squeeze his chubby little cheeks! He had a full head of hair too. Oooh, he is such a cutie. Jess is back in Utah now, and Jaden is 4 months old. I now refer to him as Tyler Jr. he looks just like his Daddy. He has the cutest little smiles and we just laugh at how he sings himself to sleep. I'm glad I get to be around this next year to watch him grow and learn.
On January 13th, Camron's brother Nic, and his wife Kelli welcomed their new little bundle of joy. Camron and I now have a nephew, and Brycson who before then had been surrounded by girls, now has a boy cousin to rough and tumble with. Michael came into this world at almost 11 pounds. Camron calls him "Hank the Tank." It was amazing to see how he just filled the bassinet in the nursery. He's starting to get a little personality and is starting to become more curious and aware of his surroundings. He has the cutest little smile and a raspy little man cry. It's really cute. I'm sure Brycson and him will be great buds and get into nothing but trouble together!
Before school started back up again, we made a quick escape up to Camron's friend Riley's cabin. We love going up there. It's so nice just to get away and hang out with friends. Six couples came up including kids, it was a packed little house. The boys got some good ice fishing in and went sledding with the four wheelers. Brycson was all excited to go out and try sledding until they started up the four wheelers, then it was "too loud" and he wanted to go back inside. Our late nights and unfamiliar territory sure screwed up Brycson's bedtime routine. Three nights worth of camping took about a week to get back on track, but we survived. Brycson loved playing with all the kids and quickly found out how tough life can be with other kids around wanting the same things you do!
They brought a bale of hay up and dumped it out back by the kitchen window. Many deer came to feast throughout the day. It was really cool to see them that close.
And lastly for January, this is what my loving husband left for me to find in the shower one morning!
FEBRUARY
Our little niece Hayden was blessed at the first of the month. She was such a good baby the whole time, and Brandon did a great job. She wore her mom's (Stacey's) blessing dress, and when we tried it on to make sure it was going to work Brycson looked at me and said "Hayden princess!" It's also a fun tradition in our family that every girl for their blessing gets a necklace and a ring, so Hayden was bling-ed out! It was fun to see the gang we used to go country dancing with and catch up with some old friends. It was a really nice day.
February also brought another arrival of a cute little bundle of joy. Our friends Erin and David welcomed little Lylah into their family. I still am just in love with her name. Unfortunately Erin lives out of state so I haven't been able to see little Lylah in person. The pictures that I do get to see are so adorable. She is such a cute little lady, and you can tell Erin is loving being a Mom.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Lylah
So because February brings both Valentine's Day and my birthday, we decided that because Camron and I were going to go out for Valentine's/Birthday, we'd take Brycson on a little pre-Valentine's Day date! Where did we go? Where else, but where a kid can be a kid! That's right, Chuck-E-Cheese! Brycson had a blast, as long as we stayed away from the singing characters. They were a little too scary. Camron was a little apprehensive about taking him there, but we all had a really great time. Brycson will still every now and then mention the "pizza place."
Brycson got an Elmo kite for his birthday, and there was finally a day that was windy enough to go fly a kite, and warm enough to be outside long enough to do so. We took a little trip down to the park and tried to fly Bryson's kite. It was a little too windy, which made it hard on Dad to keep it up in the air, but Brycson loved it!
The highlight of March included spending our tax return money!! Most of our money went to paying off bills, and our Jeep has been tuned up and overhauled. Camron wanted to be able to play a little with our money, and have something to show for it besides a $0.00 balance. Camron found some really good deals on some X-box games, and I have been cursing our camera for about a year now, so I got a new camera! Woo hoo. I'm still trying to figure out all of the features, but so far it is a million times better than our old one.
APRIL
April was an eventful month for us, it started out with Camron's sister, Anna, getting engaged! Brycson is in love with his aunt Anna, and it took a while for him to warm up to the idea of Jon being around all of the time, but that didn't take too long, and he loves Jon now too. The proposal actually took place at our house, so we got to set everything up for them. When we lit all the candles Brycson asked if we were going to sing (meaning "Happy Birthday!") it was pretty cute. He also made a new friend while the whole family waited in the basement. Jon's sister-in-law, Kami, is now his new best friend. She totally plays up every little thing he does, and he loves all the attention. The wedding is coming up at the beginning of July. We are so excited for Anna to take this step in her life. We really like Jon and are excited to have him join the family.
As a pre-Easter activity my sister had all of the kids over to her house to decorate Easter cookies. We had a really fun time. We might just have to make it a little tradition, it reminded me a lot of decorating cookies for Easter at my grandma's with all of my cousins.
Brycson's favorite part, of course, were the otter pops afterwards.
Easter was wonderful this year. It's getting so much more fun as Brycson is becoming more aware of how it all works, and gets so excited. He didn't quite understand the concept of looking for his Easter basket, but loved dying eggs, and the egg hunt in the backyard.
MAY
Although May has come and gone quickly, it has been a good month for our family. School ended and we've enjoyed spending more quality time with eachother. Brycson and I enjoy sleeping in while we can, and play all day. He is becoming quite the little helper with all the chores around the house. Camron and his buddies formed a softball team for the summer, and they're doing quite well. We've enjoyed going to see their games. We welcomed Camron's brother, Kolby, home from his mission. It's been fun having him here. Brycson is enjoying a new buddy who will give him undivided attention, watch movies with him, and play soccer with him too. Lastly, Brycson moved into his "big boy" bed this month. I was really dreading the thought of doing it, but figured if we had problems I'd rather deal with them now, than when we're back in school. He had a nightmare the first night and came to sleep with us, but has been great from then on out. I was really dreading him being able to get out of bed and wake me up in the morning, but he still just sits in his bed and calls me to come and get him out every morning. Things are going great, I LOVE that kid!

Wow! What a post! Love hearing what you've been up to--I check every once in a while and was wondering how you were. Glad things are going good for you. Have a fun summer :)
You sure have been busy! No wonder you haven't had time for blogging. It is so fun to be able to see what you are up to and see how Brycson is growing.
